Beautiful weather! Hard working kids and nice size group. Steady stream of cars. They really felt like they did a great job. - Sacred Heart Youth Ministry/Christian Youth Trek, Dearborn, MI
It was pouring down rain the morning of, and all week we had perfect sunshine and warm weather. But this Saturday was pouring down rain. I still went out to do the car wash even if it was just going to be me and 3 other people. Some more people showed up who I was expecting because they told me, when I asked for volunteers, that they would be able to come. So, as more and more people started coming, mass was about to start. So I let a few people go to mass while a friend and I stayed at the car wash to watch all of our stuff. The car wash was a a church in the parking lot. Our crew of people were all praying for sunshine and for it to stop raining. Eventually after the first 2-3 cars, who were coming out of mass, the rain stopped! From that point on more cars started coming, and more people started showing up. The car wash was great fun and the rain held out for us. - Youth For Life, Edmonds, WA
AN AWESOME NIGHT!!!! - St. Ann Catholic Church Youth Group, Ridgecrest, CA
First time ever that an event of this sort took place at our parish. We had a good amount of support from parishioners and hope to make this a yearly event. - Holy Trinity Parish, Medina, NY
Had fun until the rains came and we were "washed" out. - Church of Nativity Youth, Utica, OH
We had to move our time to earlier in the morning, because of a wedding in the afternoon. It was slow at first, but then the cars came out and we washed even more than last year. Some ppl. just gave donations to the sign holders in the road. Some did not know what the car wash was for, but some came just because it was a pro-life event! One sign said "Honk if you are Pro-Life." We got a LOT of honks! :) - Nativity Youth, Williamsville, NY
