- St. John the Evangelist Youth Group, Prairieville, LA

It was a great day! We got our pictures in the paper which the kids loved! Next year we have BIG PLANS to promote and really reach out to the community.

We had a great time. The kids worked hard. Our 1st car was a woman that was a recipient of services from A Women’s Pregnancy Center a few years ago. She was really happy to see kids involved and shared her story with them.

We held our event in conjunction with our annual parish picnic, (which was a first, our youth program is only a few months old)and once the cars started coming it was unbelievable! Youth just started showing up (even those who didn't sign-up to help came). It was an incredible experience to see all those kids ranging in age from 6th grade to high school seniors working together, having fun, raising money for a wonderful cause. We only did ours for 2 hours, but it was such a spirit filled 2 hours!! The kids cannot wait for next year! Thank You for this wonderful opportunity!

A member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church Respect Life Group, of Saline, MI, saw the website for Wash for Life and the rest is history! Fall is a busy time for our parish youth, so we decided to hold our Wash for Life in June instead of September. On June 16, 2007, the St. Andrew Respect Life Group, and teens from St. Andrew’s, Keystone Community Church, First United Methodist, Christ Our King Lutheran and Immaculate Conception,
WFL 07
Clear Creek Youth, Tahlequah OK
held their first Wash for Life at Liberty School in Saline, MI. These teens did a fantastic job, raising over $1600 for Arborvitae Women’s Center, a new pro-life medical clinic located in Ann Arbor, MI. We also had many generous sponsors in our community who helped feed our hardworking teens during the carwash, including Mancino’s Pizza, Busch’s, Tim Hortons and Benny’s Bakery. Teens from the following groups participated: St. Andrew Catholic Church, Christ Our King Lutheran Church, First United Methodist Church, Keystone Community Church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

We raised over $200 more than last year and we were even across the street from a professional carwash business! On top of that, it started to get rainy toward the end, so we are expecting an even better result next year, God willing!
- ASU Students for Life, Tempe, AZ

Awesome day of fellowship and the kids had a blast. I never saw them come together to help one another so much. It was good to see our youth working and smiling!
