Many people came out to support our Pro-Life movement. It's amazing how they are touched by teens and youth advocating for Pro-Life. Because of this, many people gave a donation towards the cause, on top of the car wash fee. We ended the afternoon with our 4:15pm mass and worshiped together. They enjoyed it very much... they were already talking about next years Wash for Life Car Wash!!! God Bless :-)

There were 4 car washes going on at the same time in our community. It was the first joint effort put forth by many of our Christian Churches. We are looking forward to doing more things together.

Our street is car wash central every Sat. morning w/ at least 2-3 other washes going on...Here's a story to share that makes it all worth it: A couple made a donation but didn't have time to have their car washed...they thought they were supporting the youth raising money for our conferences and I told them that today was the National Car Wash for Life. The lady stopped and asked "For life...what does that mean?" and I told her all our proceeds would go to Birthright. She got real excited and said,"And they help moms to have their babies instead of abortions?" I said yes and she gave me a giant hug and said "Thank you Thank you Thank you. I was forced into that when I was 14 and I wish I had help but I was a minor and I was forced."

This is the second year our church participated and we raised $53 more than last year...in spite of the fact that a popular college football team was on TV at the same time as our wash!
